Back in 2016 I made a short documentary as part of the Video Kitchen course at The Film and Video Art Society of Alberta – Edmonton (FAVA). This documentary, Knitters of Edmonton, focuses on the stories of three local knitters. It aims to try to break stereotypes that exist around hobbies such as knitting and shed more light on those who pursue the craft.
This documentary screened with other class films at the Metro Cinema (Garneau Theatre) in Edmonton Alberta on September 7, 2016.

I planned, directed, shot, and edited the film. Thank you to FAVA for their wonderful course and equipment – especially one C-stand that was my boom grip. A huge thank you to those who were interviewed in the film, including to the two knitting groups and two venues involved, and to a few who helped me transport gear.
